Meeting of the Class Reps

I met with a number of the class reps this morning to discuss the suitable content of texts when messaging fellow parents. This was a very productive meeting and I will share this protocol with you next week

Parking along the High Road

We have received a number of complaints regarding how parents park on the High Road. Apparently a bus was held up for several minutes yesterday due to some erratic parking. Please do not park on the yellow lines or dropped curbs outside the school as this does effect the smooth running of St John’s. Thank you for co-operation in this matter.

Parent and Staff Coffee Morning

Please join me and a number of staff for coffee at 9.00am on Friday 3 rd March in the Staff Room for an update on current initiatives, ask questions and meet other parents. I look forward to seeing you there.

PTA Quiz Night

Athletics

Today 28 children and staff attended the Indoor Sportshall Athletics District Finals at Roding Valley School. I am pleased to announce we won the competition and are through to the County Finals taking place in March. A huge thank you and very well done to all the children and staff involved.

Apart from horses at a funeral and storm Doris it’s been a relatively quiet week. On Thursday Year 3 were visited by Essex Fire Service.
