U11 7-a-side Football county Final - 1st December 2016

The football team didn’t disappoint when they travelled to Colchester to represent West Essex in the U11 County Final. Having previously qualified unbeaten in the partnership tournament, they continued in the same vein; remaining unbeaten throughout the group stage and finishing top of their group. Kasey Clark was superb in goal pulling off a number of crucial saves and only conceding one goal in open play. They progressed to the semi- final and still remained unbeaten with a tightly contested 0-0 draw: forcing the match to go to extra time. At the end of this period of extra time the score remained 0-0, meaning penalties were upon us. Unfortunately it wasn’t our day and the team didn’t manage to progress further; although a little disappointed, they realised that they had actually finished in the top four schools in the whole of Essex! So well done boys.
