Year 3/4 Tennis Tournament

It was a drizzly day on Friday, but that didn't dampen the spirits of the children who attended the annual year 3/4 tennis tournament at Epping Tennis Club.  Eight Year 4 children (4 girls and 4 boys) from St. John's took to the courts for the first matches.  They had a bit of a nervous start, but soon got into the swing of things and some great tennis was played.  Dodging the showers the play continued throughout the afternoon: St. John's playing in the final round for a 3rd or 4th place finish.  They held their nerve, and where excited to find that they had done enough to finish in 3rd position,winning a well earned bronze medal.
